Delta Trading LP

Delta Trading, L.P. uses its location at “Paloma Gulf Station” in Kern County to take advantage of its superior access to rail and truck transportation.  Gulf siding is serviced by BNSF & UP Class A rail transportation carriers.  The local service to Gulf Station is provided by RailAmerica’s San Joaquin Valley Rail Road.  SJVRR provides 5 switches per week.  Our close proximity to I-5, the major central highway in California, provides excellent truck access for our customers.

Delta's crude aggregation system of crude oil gather has become one of the major core business units within our plant structure that also hosts asphalt blending, chemical transloading, and clean product handling. Additionally, Delta has installed an emulsion facility providing us with small specialty asphalt capabilities.  That has led to our partnership with EcoStar to produce world class paving maintenance materials and reconstruction binders for use in the road and airport industry.  The base material of Carbon Plex H-25 is licensed to Delta by EcoStar.

Further, Crimson Renewable Energy has installed a state of the art glycerin and biodiesel facility at Paloma.  They are capable of servicing a large part of the California market in biodiesel and world wide market in premium graded glycerin.

Emulsion manufacturing is one of our core competencies of Paloma and our wide range of products continues to support our total plant.  Our location lends itself to product delivery to all of the high demand commercial constructions area Pacific and Southwestern regions.

Along with our emulsion manufacturing capability Paloma Station is specifically used for the development of material transshipping of non-hazardous & hazardous products by truck and rail.  Our hazmat capabilities range from petroleum based organic compounds thru chemical handling, specialty asphalt markets, PG road grade asphalts, LPG products & storage, clean product storage, caustic soda, HCL, and any other related petroleum movements.

All of our customers are served by our Dearman inventory management system that features remote customer access for BOLs, inventories, and customer draws.  The system can be programmed to send daily emails of all positions for individual customers.  Should customers require product specific BOL COC’s then that service can be provided.
